Join SMU in celebrating Animal Day on 21st March (Saturday) at their SMU city campus along Stamford Road from 11am to 6pm.
Registration for competitions and goodie bags start from 12pm onwards. There will be dog show performances, Q&A session with a vet, photo-taking for you and your pet and many more fun activities. The speakers are bestselling authors Bill & Pam Farrel brought in by Campus Crusade to do Family and Marriage talks. I was extremely grateful that they have kindly agreed to speak to Singles even though they have a busy speaking schedule in Singapore. They are indeed keen to speak to Christian singles! But good things come with a price. They command a premium speaking fee yet I keep the cost affordable so people can come. The cafe has also helped by lowering their buffet price. Hence, numbers play an important part. It's actually a bargain to have a buffet and a pair of well known speakers for a chill-out Sunday afternoon.
I believe their years of experience and content will provide a dynamic session for Christian singles. And since it is a high tea, there will be also be ample opportunity for networking between singles.

Badminton at Republic Polytechnic this Sunday 4-6pm (For Single Christians only)
With compliments from a church brother who has booked 3 Badminton courts at Republic Polytechnic this Sunday 4-6pm, I will like to invite anyone of you who are keen to join us. If you do not know how to get there, pls meet us 3.30pm sharp at Woodlands MRT control station. If you are late, pls find your own way there. Shuttle cocks will be provided. However, pls bring your own racket and water. If you drive, pls consider picking some of us up at Woodlands MRT and give us a ride to Republic Polytechnic.
We have also booked table tennis. Can anyone let me know if you can bring the bats and the ping pong balls pls ?
