1) We will be organising a dinning event on 31.1.2009, 7-10 pm. The entire venue (central location) has already been booked exclusively for this event. So kindly invite your single christian friends along for this event.
2) Interested participants, kindly register yourself via email with your
- full name as per nric,
- christian name if any,
- chuch attending, and
- mobile number to gtky.admin@gmail.com . Venue will be disclose to the participants.
3) Due to space constraints, the full capacity of the venue is only around 50 so kindly register early to avoid disappointment.
4) The price of the dinner is to be settled by each individual depending on the food ordered. Price is around $10-20 dollars. Some of you might want to consume the full course wedding style banquet menu which may cost slightly more, around 30 dollars.
Points to note:
1) Punctuality is greatly appreciated.
2) It is great to catch up with old friends. Nevertheless, try to know someone new.
3) Allow other participants space to know other people. Do rotate and move around.

Enjoy the speciality of the house in Japanese curry Udon with Pork Katsu as the highly recommended dish in the cozy corner of this Japanese style restaurant. Price indicates registration fee.
*Please note that a registration fee is charged excluding the meal cost so that participants can have their own choice of food from a wide variety.
*Rotation of seats is dependant on the venue setting or situation or atmosphere. In the event there is no rotation of seats, the ice breaker game will give you an opportunity to introduce yourself to your new friends.

These events are opened to Poly and Uni graduates. The fees indicated are for SDU and SDS members. Non member can participate so long as they satisfy the first criteria.

Sentosa Flower Festival
Dear brothers and sisters,
Join me for a time of fun and fellowship at Sentosa this Saturday at the start of Sentosa's Flower Festival. For those who like flowers and photography, you can snap to your heart's content this Saturday.
Date: 24th January 2009 (Saturday)
Meeting Venue: to be disclosed to signed up participants.
Meeting time: 4.00 p.m.
Program: Proceed to Imbiah station. 5.00p.m. to 7.30 p.m. Photo admiring and taking. Free and easy. Do mingle and pair off with new friends. 7.30 p.m. assemble at Imbiah station, proceed for dinner at Subway sandwich at Harbourfront. Activity ends around 9.30 p.m. after dinner. Those who are on and able to wake up for church the next day, please continue to go for drinks :)
Objective: enjoy God's creation and fellowship.
Cost: Ticket $3 and Subway (average $6 plus per meal). Just in case Subway does not have enough seats, some of us can go Harbourfront food court.
Things to bring :
mineral water
camera (if you like to take pictures)
some light snacks cos having late dinner
money

Cycling to Sentosa Cove from Siloso Beach (For single Christians)

For those who enjoy cycling and likes the stunning view of
One Degree 15 at Sentosa Cove with its luxurious houses, gorgeous yachts and sea views.
Brother Ken Goh will be co-organizing. Come and join us
for the below outing.
-Event: Cycling to Sentosa Cove from Siloso Beach

b) Bring Camera, Mineral Water and rain coat
b) This is a leisure outing, organizer will not accountable
to participants if injury/death in the event of accidents
on insurance claim.

Date: 17th January 2009 (Saturday)
Meeting time: 8.00 a.m.
Meeting place: Venus Drive carpark. Alight at bus stop opposite flame tree park condominium.
Hiking distance: 10 kilometres.
Hiking time: Fast 2 and half hours, Slow 4 hours ( We want to walk at a comfortable pace, so will take about 4 hours.)
Program: Hike from Venus Drive carpark to HSBC Tree-top walk over hanging bridge, then to Jelutong tower and lastly over board walk and ends at Macritchie main entrance.
After hiking: take a bus about six stops to Casurina at Thomson road for roti prata or wanton mee and duck rice. Programs ends after lunch.
Objectives: to exercise, enjoy God's creation and fellowship with people who can wake up early on Sat morning
