Yes, the outdoor events "season" has begun for 2011! Start the new year with a very relaxing stroll along Changi Coastal Boardwalk! Details are as below:

CHANGI BOARDWALK (for Christian singles only)
Date: 2nd January (Sunday)
Start Time: 4.15 p.m. (we will not wait beyond 15 minutes)
Meeting Venue: Changi Village Jetty (upper floor)
Quota: None.
Estimated End Time: 6.30 - 7 p.m. with dinner thereafter
Total Distance: 5 km (loop walk)
Total Dateline for Registration: 1st January

Brief HighlightsRamble along the shores of Changi Spit/Beach (one of the few remaining original coastlines) at super-low tide (0.5m at 4 p.m.) and spot for sea creatures such as sea anemones, sea pencils, crabs etc. Learn about and watch out for the heritage of Changi Village/Beach where time has stood still since the 1960s. Take a relaxing stroll along the serene and windy Changi Coastal Boardwalk. Here, we will observe people fishing/prawning/crabbing, watch the pretty boats sailing by and catch the sun setting over the horizon. Finally, we will "fei-lo-ship" over sumptuous "zhi cha" dinner at the well-known yet reasonably priced Ubin First Stop Restaurant with new and old friends.

Things to bring:
Cap/hat
Water (at least 500ml)
Sandals (do not wear shoes if you intend to go into the sea)
Umbrella/raincoat
